Search, Clip and Share Favorite Scenes from Top Gun, The Godfather, Grease and many more popular movies
LONDON (June 6, 2012) - Unilever’s Magnum ice cream has teamed up with Paramount Digital Entertainment, GorillaSpot Media and Lowebrindfors to develop ‘Magnum Mini Moments’, an innovative consumer entertainment application that allows consumers to personalize iconic movie moments and remind their friends of Magnum Mini moments via Facebook.
Magnum Mini Moments is built on GorillaSpot Media’s ‘ReelCards on Facebook’ application, and features 200 minutes of funny, outrageous and touching moments from some of Paramount Pictures’ most popular movies, such as The Godfather, Grease, Top Gun and Mission: Impossible III. The clips have been sorted into six cinematic genres: comedy, drama, action, romance, horror and adventure. Users can personalize clips through messaging and music to create a unique video card – a ‘Magnum Mini Moment’ – that can then be shared with their friends via Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and email. The app also offers users the ability to purchase and enjoy the full-length films.
Alper Eroglu, Global Senior Brand Development Manager, Magnum Digital and Social Media says, “We’re delighted to offer our fans such an engaging and entertaining app. Magnum Mini is all about having a mini moment of indulgence whenever you want and we know that our fans love eating their favourite ice cream while watching movies at home; that’s why we believe this app is a perfect match!”
"The ReelCards app gives fans an innovative way to express themselves by interacting and sharing some of the best loved and most popular moments from Paramount Pictures’ movies,” said Athan Stephanopoulos, CEO of GorillaSpot Media.
The app is available in 23 markets and 11 languages through the Magnum Facebook pages and can be dubbed into four languages – French, Italian, German and Spanish.
The partnership with Unilever, Paramount Digital Entertainment and GorillaSpot Media will run for the duration of 2012.
