Healing Hand Cream:
Healthy skin naturally repairs itself, but the constant activity and exposure of hands may disrupt this natural process, leading to severely dry and rough skin. Vaseline Intensive Rescue Healing Hand Cream’s unique formula infuses dry skin with intense moisturizers and sinks in within seconds, yet lasts all day to promote the ideal environment that skin needs to repair itself.
Healing Foot Cream:
Healthy skin naturally repairs itself, but the constant pounding feet take puts intense pressure on this natural process, leading to severely dry and rough skin. Vaseline Intensive Rescue Healing Foot Cream softens dry skin on contact. It then deeply moisturizes to promote the environment for skin’s natural healing processes to occur, reducing roughness within five days.
How the products work
Instant Relief:
Humectants, like glycerine, bind and lock individual water molecules to your skin, delivering an immediate burst of moisture, giving relief to dry, tight skin. And because of the high concentration of the humectant glycerine in Vaseline Intensive Rescue products, this relief lasts all day long.
Long-Lasting Moisture and Repair:
Occlusives, like Vaseline Petroleum Jelly, help fill-in the lipid structure of your very dry skin, while also providing a physical barrier to prevent further moisture loss, allowing skin to retain moisture over time. The occlusives in Intensive Rescue products, specifically Vaseline petroleum jelly, help seal the moisture in and over time your skin’s baseline moisture level increases.
All Intensive Rescue products use an optimal combination of humectants and occlusives. In addition, Intensive Rescue Hydrating Foot Cream contains alpha hydroxy acids which gently soften and exfoliate, delivering comfort while further promoting the proper environment for healing.
Performance
Each product in the Intensive Rescue range has been developed following extensive research by Vaseline scientists, including time moisturization tests, moisturization efficacy tests, home use clinical trials and consumer home use tests against other products currently in the market. This research demonstrated the effectiveness of all the Intensive Rescue products at providing both instant relief and moisture, and increasing the moisture level in the skin over time.
