Unilever North America supports 2012 AIDS Walk

In line with Unilever's efforts to improve the health and wellness of employees,Aids Walk North America Logo families and communities, Unilever provides HIV prevention and treatment programs in countries such as Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa.  The company also supports the annual AIDS Walk in key cities across North America.  Employees recently participated in the 2012 AIDS Walk in New Haven, CT and New York City — the Toronto walk is scheduled for September. 

144 registered walkers participated in the May 20, New York City AIDS Walk , giving employees and their families a chance to come together for a good cause and raise over $10,000 for AIDS research.  Similar to the past four years, Unilever represented the largest team from New Jersey. 

“These efforts illustrate how employees’ small actions make a big difference,” said David Calle, Vice President, Strategy Office.  “Their work is a true example of what we can achieve by working together for a common cause.”
