Maille is a taste beyond the ordinary because of the way we process our mustard seeds and thereby maintain the integrity of flavors. Every Maille product is created by culinary experts along with our Maille Mustard Sommelier. The team explores subtle combinations of ingredients to achieve a complex taste profile, an appealing aroma, the desired texture, and the right color.

In 1747 ‘La Maison Maille’ was founded by Antoine Maille, the original creative food explorer. Through constant experimenting, daring leadership and ceaseless creativity, he made La Maison Maille famous for quality. The Paris boutique featured 92 unique varieties of flavored vinegars and 84 different flavors of mustard.

Maille soon became the official supplier of mustard to the court of King Louis XV. Our 275 years of craftsmanship and passion lives on in everything we do, from our products and inventiveness, to the iconic glass and handmade sandstone jars we serve them in, to the exceptional service & personal touches of our people.
