Back in 2003, we began our pioneering Nutrition Enhancement Program to minimize nutrients of concern in our products, such as salt and sugar. We formalized this in 2010 as part of the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan (USLP). With this, Knorr has been on a journey for the past decade to reduce sodium across its portfolio. Using the Knorr ‘Sides to Center’ approach, making balanced meals for you and your family is easy. Add vegetables and lean or plant-based protein to Knorr Sides and you can create delicious and nutritious meals while also helping to increase the intake of essential nutrients such as Potassium, Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Fiber.
To further encourage these nutritious meals, the Knorr website offers a wide variety of delicious recipes using an assortment of our products that can easily be searched on the recipe page. This includes our ‘Better-For-You’ Recipes that promote positive food groups with at least ½ cup of veggies per serving with less than 600 mg of sodium per serving in addition to limiting saturated fat & sugar.
