America’s Favorite Mayonnaise Marks its Move to Cage-Free Eggs with a Celebration of REAL, Delicious Food at One of the Nation’s Most Celebrated Food Festivals

Englewood Cliffs, NJ (June 14, 2012) – Real food lovers rejoice. For the first time in the 30 year history of The FOOD & WINE CLASSIC in Aspen, Hellmann’s® is offering a virtual all access pass -- bringing the real side of this prestigious event to people everywhere. The excitement begins Friday, June 15 on Hellmanns.com as celebrity chefs Tim Love and Hugh Acheson go live from Aspen to offer viewers an insider’s look at the real talent – and real ingredients – that take food from good to best, no badge required.

Sponsored by Hellmann’s® and hosted by Love and Acheson, the video series offers an up close and personal look at some of the top celebrity chefs in action – cooking their signature dishes, sharing their favorite real ingredients and revealing their real food loves -- as well as unprecedented access to the Classic’s famed events including the Red Carpet Welcome Reception, the Publisher’s Party and “Last Bite” Dessert Bash.

Another “first” at the Classic ― products including Hellmann’s® REAL Mayonnaise and Hellmann’s® Mayonnaise Dressing with Olive Oil will be paired with fresh ingredients in a number of mouth-watering recipes. Event attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy Hellmann’s®-inspired recipes at the festival’s Grand Tastings, as well as at a Hellmann’s® Luncheon hosted by Chef Love and Chef Acheson. The luncheon will be held at famed Aspen eatery, Jimmy’s, and benefits Wholesome Wave, an organization whose mission is to make healthy, locally grown food affordable and accessible to all1.

Underscoring its commitment to REAL, Hellmann’s® has been working closely with farmers and suppliers to transition to cage-free eggs, and recently announced its goal to transition all of its recipes to 100 percent cage-free eggs by 2020.
