Katie Lee celebrates Hollywood’s biggest night

Five Delicious Recipes Made with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® Help Movie Fans Host Award-Winning Home Viewing Parties

Englewood Cliffs, NJ (February 21, 2012) – As the excitement grows for the glitz and glamour of the red carpet on Hollywood’s biggest night, culinary and entertaining expert Katie Lee and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® spread are unveiling award-worthy recipes to help movie fans celebrate with festive at-home viewing parties.

“I’m a big fan of the movies nominated this year, which is why I created five recipes inspired by some of these fabulous films,” said Ms. Lee. “With these dishes, you can toast to the brightest moments in movies with your friends and take part in the Hollywood glamour of this special night.”

Katie Lee, known for her sophisticated, yet casual, approach to home entertaining, has been throwing award show viewing parties for as long as she can remember. “I’ve always loved to cook, but as I get older I’m more aware of the ingredients I’m using,” added Ms. Lee. “I make better choices through simple substitutions, like I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter! in place of butter.

It’s featured in every dish of my award show viewing party menu because it offers fresh butter taste with 70 percent less saturated fat than butter.”Recipes for Ms. Lee’s nod to the Best Picture nominees can be found at Facebook.com/ICantBelieveItsNotButterUSA and include three appetizers and two desserts:

  • Brie and Chutney Toast a la Paris, inspired by “Midnight in Paris”
  • Chili Parmesan and Peanut Popcorn, inspired by “Moneyball”
  • Unfried Chicken and Homemade BBQ Sauce, inspired by “The Help”
  • Spotlight Cookies, inspired by “The Artist”
