Englewood Cliffs, NJ (September 5, 2012) – Skippy®, one of America’s favorite peanut butter brands for close to 80 years, is introducing Skippy® Natural Creamy with 1/3 Less Sodium and Sugar, offering the great natural peanut butter taste families love with 1/3 less sodium and sugar than regular Skippy® Creamy Peanut Butter.

Skippy® Peanut Butter & Fruit Sushi

4 servings

Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes

4 slices whole wheat bread

1/4 cup Skippy® Natural Creamy Peanut Butter with 1/3 Less Sodium and Sugar

1/4 cup apricot preserves

16 slices colorful fruit (kiwi, mango and/or strawberries)

Preheat oven to 375°.

Trim crust off bread, then cut each slice into 4 slices. Arrange on baking sheet and bake eight minutes or until toasted. Combine Skippy® Natural Creamy Peanut Butter with 1/3 Less Sodium and Sugar with apricot preserves. Reserve 1/2 of the mixture for dipping. Spread remaining mixture on toasted bread, then top with fruit. Serve with dipping sauce.
